Review Detail

Nice campground located in the picturesque mountains near Flagstaff. There are about 26 sites, all with W/E. The dump station is located up the hill on the road to/from the campground. The bath/laundry facility fairly sparkled, it was so clean. The base has very little (basically none) amenities, but there is a truck stop across the freeway from the base entrance that has basic food. When we arrived, the gate guard was very adamant about our calling the camp hosts on the same day we arrived and within a couple hours of arrival to assure the camp host was expecting us. Not sure why, but would suggest calling as you're heading to the campground. The camp host was very helpful and friendly.
