Stayed during spring break 2015. The Host had a family emergency during our stay, so no help getting things done. We were supprised to find out that open fires at the campsite are not allowed, yet you can have an open fire in the BBQ pits provided at each site. Trips into little rock were longer than expected due to the construction on the highway, there is a camping world down the road on I30. I found the lake nearby fun to fish in, and there are fish but one for every two turtles. Be very careful, we found a copper head near our site.
We approached the Famcamp and thought it was the only site however the rest of the sites are behind the trees of the 10 or so that you first see. July was very hot, not that many shade trees. Some sites had cones on them meaning the hook ups did not work. The camp host gave us the combo to the restroom/laundry. We paid for the site at mwr. We got around 5 stations using digital tv. MIfi2200 and cell worked well. Plenty of spaces to choose from. Base is nice.
