We only spent one night on our way back to the San Diego area, so our ratings are based on a limited observation. We did have some problem locating the park as the GPS coordinates listed above put us in the middle of a civilian housing area several miles north of Pt. Mugu. We finally called the base to get a street address for the GPS (none listed above). Once on the base, and in the in the park, my Garmin GPS said the coordinates were N34.05910, W-119.06222. Once we were settled, we found the location on the beach great. You can hear the ocean, so we left our window open all night. The electrical hookup boxes were badly decaying, although everything worked ok. There was a cable TV connector, but no signal. We heard that the park is due for a major upgrade in the near future.
