During the summer, off-season period (Apr-Sep), there have typically been plenty of full-hookups available at the Sigsbee NASKW Campground. However, this summer (at least o/a 11 Aug 2016), Sigsbee (temporarily??) had no full-hook-up sites available. Why? Off the record, I'd been told a growing number of local, active-duty, permanent party personnel are starting to use the full-hookup sites at the Sigsbee NASKW Campground as a permanent housing option. With rent in the local area extremely high, it's easy to see the financial attraction. During the winter, high-season, period (Oct-Mar), it's always been the norm for full-hookup sites at Sigsbee to be at or near capacity the entire time to accommodate all the snow-birds. To handle the overflow during this period, Trumbo Point (with several hundred dry-camping sites) is temporarily opened for use. When full-hookup sites are not available during the summer, off-season, there are a limited number of dry-camping spaces at Sigsbee to handle some overflow. However, in the event the Sigsbee full hookup and dry-camping sites reach capacity, not sure whether management would consider opening Trumbo Point during the summer, off-season. Bottom line, if you're planning on visiting NASKW Campground (summer or winter), it's best to call ahead to check on availability.
