This is our favorite campground in the country and we have stayed at military CG's coast to coast. If you read a few of the reviews here, all the positive things reported are spot on. Location, friendly hard working staff and great facilities are the things that make this campground special. This trip I've had contact with the manager, Bob Baylis and staff members Woody, Jean and Ed. They could not have been more friendly or professional. Thank you all. I hope the base MWR Director and base CO reads these reviews and know that their support of the campground is also appreciated. The scuttlebutt I've heard is that the manager, Bob Baylis is planning to retire this year. If true he will be missed for his tireless efforts at making Pelican Roost a model installation.
