A tiny RV park, that's clean and level and easy to get to. Absolutely worth the value.
Only stayed here 1 day. My only complaint is it's right near/on the international airport and near train tracks, so there's near constant noise. Fortunately the noise is far enough away to not be a significant issue unless you're a super light sleeper.
No bathroom or laundry. The spaces are all pull-through and kind of tight with dirt that can easily get muddy. Super close to downtown Savannah. It's super cheap, so you're getting what you pay for but worth it.
Only stayed 1 day. Definitely take the Yorktown gate in. The welcome packet is extensive and comes with some discounts. If we have the chance this would be a place to give more time to.
Patrick SFB itself isn't close to very much. The RV park is kind of tucked away on the small base. Regardless, still a decent place to stay. The laundry is coin-only with no coin change machine readily available.
We stayed on the Dredger Key RV park. Overall a great RV place with decently large spaces. We spent 2 weeks here and it was great. There is free wi-fi but it keeps choppy. The laundry rooms are coin-only, the coin change machine was empty the entire time we were there. Some idiot was putting food in the bathroom trash cans, so some random animal was pulling over and making a mess. Some random tips: If you want to do...
Very close to Ft Liberty but not that close to other things. All of the RV spots seemed quite large, the upper A-area were very large pull-through concrete pads. The bathhouse was clean. The nearby walking/hiking path is 4-5K. They have mountain bike paths as well. The fishing end of the lake can actually be walked to (2-3K) and does require an NC license AFAIK.
