The location is set right near the pond and is very quiet. Commissary/BX is about 1.5 miles away, and the Rt 68 gate is 2 miles away. The sidewalks aren't great, but that's most bases I've stayed on. This location was great, and the park was empty because I came right after a recent storm. Unfortunately, there was damage to the base, including the laundry facilities not working. They did let me know this was going on when I booked the reservation, so that was helpful. I will say the staff that helped me book the reservations were less than friendly. I have stayed at many RV parks on bases, and the staff just was very unpleasant to...
