Just spent 3 weeks here. The campground was in great shape, folks working on the whole place most of the time. We have never had such a great experience staying the campground. The yards between sites were kept cut. Jessica in the office & others were very kind & helpful. Cable & WiFi worked great. No complaints. Dewey Destin on the Bay is always a favorite place to eat.
My husband & I enjoyed a month at Pelican Point Campground last fall. As always, it was a wonderful visit. Ms. Lori in the office is so very kind & helpful. AWESOME!! My husband & I spent 2 weeks at Pelican Roost. The office staff was so helpful. We were able to choose our campsite from 3 front row sites. The campground was well taken care of. The view is always awesome - breathtaking sunsets that only my God can paint, cargo, & cruise ships, Navy & Coast Guard vessels coming in & going out on the St. Johns River several times a day. We returned for 3 weeks again this year & we’re not disappointed! Miss Lori & Miss Carissa in the office we’re akways smiling & so helpful, as was the camp host. Grounds always tidy, good WiFi & cable. Met a sweet family there, whom I hope to keep in contact with for years to come! More washers/dryers added to laundry facility, which is wonderful! My husband & I stayed here in 2014 & were excited to return. The St. John's River is beautiful & navy ships, cargo ships & even the occasional cruise liner can be seen. My husband & I visited NSB Kings Bay for the first time this summer & stayed on a lakeside lot at Eagle Hammock. The campground is wonderful, & lakeside lots are huge & worth the extra $2/night.
